  • Mumbet - Elizabeth 'Mumbet' Freeman, the first black woman to be set free in the USA.

  • Think About It - This is the home site of the American Institute for Mindfulness, a small educational and teaching institution in the Boston suburb of Arlington. Founded by the current director to provide a teaching site and eventual citizenship for a gifted Tibetan lama in 1981, it became a center for the meeting of mind science and Asian philosophy. This resulted in the 1994 publication of Neurotheology: Virtual Religion in the 21st. Century, a seminal work which focuses on the the mind science approach to basic areas of religious thought in a changing world. Full teaching schedules will resume in October, 2006.
